QOSQO real name of this magical city, capital of the tahuantinsuyo vast empire, which means navel in the native language (Quechua). In this half day tour you will discover the stages that this city passes through and see the fusion that has been submerged since the arrival of the Spanish conquerors, Inca walls that were used as part of palaces and churches, plus 4 very important incan reminds just few kilometers out cusco city.
Walking through the city you will find colonial buildings erected atop the stone foundations of Inca temples and churches or convents sprawled out alongside the Temple of the Sun. All around you lay palpable reminders of Cuzco’s rich past and vibrant present.

Our tour will start early in the morning, pick up at the hotel at 7:30 am to then drive to the first archeological center sacsayhuaman, then continue discovering more of these religious centers.
we started the tour a little early with the idea of have more time to picture and enjoy each place to visit and finish the tour at the lunch time in Cusco city, and avoid the tourist rush hour in the arqueological centers. tour will end it up at 12:30 pm
Sacsayhuaman: is located in the upper part of Cusco about 15 minutes away, this place had a religious function, vigilance, control and in the last period of the empire a military fortification to prevent attacks and invasion of enemy tribes, has massive structures and a privileged view of Cusco city .
Qenqo: is located 5 minutes from sacsayhuaman, the name describe the location and cracks that this natural bedrock formation presents (qenqo). you can find the smooth carved stones for a ceremonial altars, within the fractures and natural caves found in this rocky formation. see then the Andean masons smooth carved in an incredible way.
Pucapucara: It has a military structure which is outside of Cusco, the name is translated to red fortress, becouse the ground of this place has abundance of iron on it therefore the color of, as well has a privileged view of the valley right in front of this construction, being a control of income to the capital of the empire.
Tambomachay: the last place to visit, Inca reminds that was partially destroyed by Spaniards and the new generations that came to live in the area, famous for its water fountains that are perfectly carved and the mystery of the origin of the water source. ceremonial and ritual fountains with trapezoidal shaped niches in the upper site of, presents an perfect conservation.
Cristo blanco: a nice view point of cusco city, statue of (White Christ), where we’ll stop for some cool pictures and see the new urban centers of this growing litte city.
Coricancha: back in the city , where We will visit the Sun Temple or Qoricancha, an important construction during Inka times, built to honor the Sun God.
